19 National Park Instagram Accounts

19 National Park Instagram Accounts to Follow in 2019

If you spend any time around our house, you’ll know that we’re both hooked on national park Instagram accounts. Despite well-meaning attempts to set our phones aside for evenings and weekends, you’ll still find both of us scrolling through the gorgeous images of places we love. For anyone desperately craving a virtual vacation, Instagram is where it’s at.

Every year in August (with the help of our Facebook community) we put together our list of BEST national park Instagram accounts. It’s a combination of talented photographers, storytellers, and other like-minded #parkchasers. We hope it helps you find some new friends and enjoy some of the best the national parks have to offer.

Have a favorite national park Instagram account that didn’t make the 2019 list? Post it in the comments section below and you might see it on our list next year!

6. Sandra Ramos – @nationalparkpatchlady

PERSONAL NOTE: For the past seven years, I’ve roadtripped around our beautiful country, experiencing and photographing the good, bad, and ugly of our history through our National Parks. Six years ago, I set a goal to share these photographs and stories in a National Park exhibit to inspire others to seek out and experience these public lands for themselves. Yesterday, I tearfully hung my first exhibit at Biscayne National Park, which has become a sort of home-away-from-home, with the assistance of my dear friend who made this possible, Ranger Gary. I could not have done this without the support of my friends ❤️, as well as Fort Worth Camera – who brought this reality to life. Thank you. Thank you. #gratitude #weepy #hotmess #nationalparkpatchlady #ibrakeforbrownsigns #nationalparkgeek #nationalparks #sharetheexperience @usinterior #nationalparksaremything #fortworthcamera #nationalparklife

7. National Park Foundation – @goparks

As the official foundation partner of the National Park Service, the National Park Foundation’s Instagram feed should be on your list to follow!

8. Park Paperie – @parkpaperie

Also new on the list for 2019, we’ve been following along as Park Paperie opens their national park themed sticker shop. Their shop has bright and colorful designs from some of our favorite national parks.

One of the reasons we created Park Paperie was to provide park lovers with flair for parks that are sometimes left out. We often see fun products for the more ‘popular’ parks like Yosemite and Arches (which is great!), but we’re over here like, “HEY! Where’s the love for Kenai Fjords? Dry Tortugas? Cuyahoga Valley?!” So when we receive orders for some of these ‘forgotten’ parks, we know that we’re serving a clear purpose – helping people keep all their park memories vibrant. Keep exploring, friends! . . . #parkpaperie #nationalpark #nationalparks #NPS #findyourpark #encuentratuparque #optoutside #getoutside #goparks #nationalparkpassport #nationalparkbucketlist #waterbottlestickers #laptopstickers #rvlife #rvtravel #travel #etsy #etsylife #gift #shopsmall #alaska #kenaifjords

9. Not So Junior Rangers – @notsojrrangers

Not So Junior Rangers Mandy and Katie were among our first Park Chaser Profiles in our feature series. We’ve followed along their quest to become Junior Rangers at as many national parks as possible–their park sign photos are some of our favorites!

10. John Withrow – @alpha.landscapes

It wouldn’t be a list of national park Instagram accounts without some gorgeous professional photography. Alpha Landscapes continues to impress and inspire us to travel and seek new adventures.

11. Ranger Bear 🐻 – @rangerbear_adventures

Adorable Ranger Bear. Enough said.

12. Christina Adele Warburg-Hon – @christinaadelephoto

We had our first snow of the season yesterday, @mountainman035 is finally home, I have had four groups of friends from out of state visiting this week, Taylor Swift is coming out with a new album on Friday, and last but not least- the two pets we have been spending a month trying to rescue and adopt should be cleared from their veterinary treatment and coming home to us soon- It’s all more than my heart can handle. So much happiness. So much Joy. I really feel like my heart will burst. I can’t wait to introduce you guys to the two new additions to our family (spoiler alert: they are NOT these mountain goats), but I will wait until they are officially home to do so. ❤️
