Started in 2015, ParkChasers.com has one mission: To help you make the most out of your visit to any one of the 417 sites in the National Park System.

The site was the vision of Amy and Greg Sippl, two twenty-something travelers chasing the goal of visiting all 417 units in the National Park System. We fell in love with the park system in 2010 on a hike to Grinnell Glacier in Glacier National Park. From our base camp in St. Paul, Minnesota we have visited 44 units in the park service system and 14 affiliated sites with plans to add more every year.

We know that planning trips to national park sites can be challenging, especially the larger ones. We’ve got firsthand experience with Yellowstone in wintertime, navigating Yosemite valley, and watching the nighttime glow of Kilauea at Hawaii Volcanoes. We’ve also been lost, wet, tired, and otherwise kicked in the face while in visiting our nation’s most treasured places.

“What should I plan to see? Where do I go to find the best campsites? What’s the best park to go hiking? Should I camp or stay in a gateway town? What do I pack to make the most of the trip?” These are the types of questions we wanted to share answers to here at Park Chasers.

Mostly this site was born because we love to share stories about the places that make our parks the best in the world. We’d love to hear your own story in our comments page or leave us a message on our Facebook page.

Happy Chasing,

Greg & Amy
